Terms of service

Last updated 8 October 2026

These are the terms on which Entjexa Labs LLP ("we", "us") provides AskGround to you. They are written to be understood; where a sentence is unusual, we've said why.

1. What we do

We read your website, build a chat bot that answers visitors' questions using the words already on your pages, and give you a single line of code to put on your site. On a monthly plan we also re-read your site on a schedule, give you a dashboard of what visitors asked, and put answers you write into the bot.

2. What the bot does, and what it deliberately does not do

The bot answers from your published content. It does not generate new sentences when a visitor asks a question — it matches the question to an answer taken from your site. When it has no good match, it says so rather than guessing. That is the central design choice of this product, not a limitation we're apologising for.

We therefore do not promise that the bot will answer any particular question or any particular proportion of questions. How much it can answer depends on how much your website actually states. We will show you what it answers before you pay.

3. Your content stays yours

Everything the bot says comes from your website, and it remains entirely yours. You grant us permission to read your site and to process your content for the purpose of building and maintaining your bot, and nothing more. We do not use your content to train any model, we do not reuse it for another customer, and we do not publish it anywhere other than in your own bot.

4. The bot file is yours to keep

The built bot is a file that sits on your own server. If you stop paying, it keeps working — we do not switch it off and there is no licence key to expire. What stops is the updating: no more re-crawls, no dashboard, and no new answers going in.

Please be aware of the consequence: a bot that is no longer updated will keep quoting whatever your site said when it was last built. If your prices or deadlines change afterwards, it will state the old ones confidently. Keeping it current is what a monthly plan is for, and after you cancel, that accuracy is your responsibility rather than ours.

5. Fees and payment

Prices are shown on our website and quoted to you before any work starts. The build fee is one-time and per website. Plan fees are monthly or annual, per website, in advance. Prices differ by market; the price quoted to you is the one that applies.

We may change plan prices with 30 days' notice. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

6. Cancelling and refunds

7. What we need from you

8. Availability

The bot on your website runs in your visitor's browser and does not depend on us being online — if everything of ours were down, the bot would carry on answering. The dashboard and the question logging do depend on our infrastructure, and we don't offer an uptime guarantee on them. If they are unavailable for an extended period we'll credit the affected time against your next invoice.

9. Personal data

How we handle data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: for visitors to your website you are the data fiduciary and we process on your behalf. If you need a separate data-processing agreement, ask and we'll sign one.

10. Liability

We take responsibility for doing our work properly. But the bot repeats your own published words, and you remain responsible for what your website says. We are not liable for a visitor acting on information that was on your site, nor for business losses, lost profits or lost data.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, ours is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Ending the agreement

Either of us can end it with 30 days' notice. We may suspend a bot immediately if it is being used unlawfully, and we'll tell you why. On termination you keep the bot file; we delete your stored data as described in the privacy policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.

These terms describe how we actually work. They are not legal advice, and for a large or regulated customer a negotiated agreement may replace them.
